Of course you are all big fans of Tolkien's myth so there need not be any extra incentive to join in with the site other than the thought of discussing Tolkien. On this site we not only want you to talk Tolkien we want you to feel as if your inside Tolkiens myth. That is why there is a relatively complex ranking system - so you can have more interaction with the site. You can select your own race kingdom of Tolkiens world to enhance this feeling. When your on the forums your rank is what all people notice after your username.
There are of course quizes to test yourself ranging from beginner to loremaster. This also gives more interaction with the site.
As an additional extra we have appointed admins and moderators who are known as Valar and Maiar to give an element of hierarchy on the site. I have only appointed the best of Tolkien fans as Valar and Maiar so you can trust what they say is true. To enhance this hierarchy even more you can call the moderators and particularly admins 'lords' and 'ladies' if you will. You don't have to but it all adds to the overall appeal of the site.
The overall aim is to make this site feel like a Tolkien experience rather than just a forum.
