"We
have sworn, and not lightly. This oath we will keep. We are threatened
with many evils, and treason not least; but one thing is not said: that
we shall suffer from cowardice, from cravens or the fear of cravens.
Therefore I say that we will go on, and this doom I add: the deeds that
we shall do shall be the matter of song until the last days of Arda."
~ The Silmarillion
Welcome to Tolkien Forums, a site designed for Tolkien and Middle-earth enthusiasts! Featuring quizzes, maps, several timelines, family trees and above all the forums themselves to participate in extensive discussions about Tolkien’s legendarium. This site first went online all the way back in 2005 and although recent changes have updated the coding and refined some elements, we’ve chosen to retain the basic charm of the 2000s web-building era and will continue doing so going into the future!
